How to
reach Castelmola
By plane
The nearest airport to Castelmola is the Catania "Fontanarossa" (CTA) airport, 67 km away. Alternatively, Sicily also offers the Comiso (Ragusa) 'Pio La Torre' (CIY) airport at approximately 153 km, the Palermo 'Falcone e Borsellino' (PMO) airport at approximately 265 km and the Trapani-Birgi 'Vincenzo Florio' (TPS) airport at approximately 371 km. From Catania airport you can take a direct bus connection provided by the company Interbus, which leaves almost every hour to Taormina Bus Terminal and takes around 01h15 min, with very frequent departures. From the Taormina Bus Terminal it is possible then to reach Castelmola by continuing by bus (for further information please visit the following website www.interbus.it) or by a taxi service.
Alternatively, the airport has recently provided a train station, which through the central train station, is connected to the main transport connections. All the scheduled trains to Taormina will stop at the "Taormina-Giardini Naxos" train station, which is located on the sea level (for a timetable and further information, please visit the following website: www.trenitalia.it).
By train
From the train station it is possible to reach our B&B directly by taxi in just 15 minutes, or by bus with the Interbus company, by first stoppingat the Bus Terminal of Taormina and then continuing to Castelmola with another bus, butalso of the company Interbus(for timetables and further information, please visit the following website www.interbus.it).
By bus
To reach Castelmola by public transportation it is possible to rely on the buses of the company Interbus.For further information, it is possible to visit the website www.interbus.it.
Those buses are connecting Castelmola to Taormina in about 15 minutes and the connections are quite frequently.
In addition, from the 'Taormina Bus Terminal', the Interbus company offers services to the train station of Taormina-Giardini Naxos, the airport of Catania Fontanarossa, Palermo, etc.

By car
To reach Castelmola by car from the many different locations, first of all you will need to arrive in Taormina, by using the A18 highway or the SS114 national street.
Suggested route / Highway A 18 Catania-Messina, taking the exit to Taormina:
Continue driving up the hill in direction of Taormina centre (about 2.5 km), until you will reach the city car park called "LUMBI". At the rotunda, which is located in front of the entrance to the car park, continue by entering the "Monte Tauro" tunnel, which takes you directly to the Porta Catania car park, which is on the opposite side of Taormina. Coming out of the tunnel, continue and pass the centre of Taormina, driving up the hill for about 250 metres (passing the " Porta Catania" car park) and continue by following the indications to Castelmola (for approximately 10 minutes).
Once you reach the entrance of Castelmola, just outside of the historic centre, you will find a municipal car park called "Porta Mola", where you will find some covered parking spaces reserved for our B&B (for a fee, by prior reservation).
Route along the national road / SS114:
Close to the Capo Taormina, you will take the SP10 (following the directions to Taormina and Castelmola). From Taormina then follow the previously mentioned directions to Castelmola.
Once you reach the entrance of Castelmola, just outside of the historic centre, you will find a municipal car park called "Porta Mola", where you will find some covered parking spaces reserved for our B&B (for a fee, by prior reservation).
Parking in Castelmola
Just outside the historical centre of the village you will find some paid parking spaces. The parking spaces available in the street (white lines) are exclusively reserved for the residents with a special parking permit.
